Memory game: zikarón - Women in the Bible

Originally part of an online advent calendar I made for friends and family during Christmas 2022, this card matching game (classic memory game rules apply here as well) aims to put 24 women of the Bible in the centre of its attention and thus the minds of its players. Traditionally the various roles women played in the Old and New Testament have been largely disregarded by history and church, now it's time to tell their stories, too.

Different from the traditional playing cards, each of 24 matching pairs consists of

• (card a) an image illustrating a scene from the story and
• (card b) a quote from the same scene or story,
• has a unique two-colour combination and
• the name of the woman written on it

A Biblical Herstory Timeline puts the women on the cards in historical context and has QR codes which lead to their individual "Wikipedia" pages with more information.

A papercraft box for the cards is included

For your own convenience you might want to print them on thicker paper. Although all pages have a borderless layout, they are designed to be printed with the fit-to-page option of your home printer as well, so the memory cards will fit into the box if you use the same printing options for all pages
